You can easily detect migraine by observing the occurrence of following symptoms. An affected person will suffer interruption in ocular vision, such as, visor dot, blinking of bright lights and also hallucination. A person will experience extremely harsh pain in the head as someone is hammering on the head only on single part of the head.</p>
<p>An unsettled stomach is felt again and again which can cause vomiting sensation time and again. Person suffering from migraine will become more sensitive towards any sought of illumination, resonance and odor. A sought of inflexibility in neck is also felt along the neckline as well as on both the shoulders.</p>
<p>An affected person might also find it difficult to focus on any activity. In the most advanced stages of migraine, a paralysis attack can also take place. In many cases, symptoms can start occurring gradually but in many cases it has been observed that they can occur abruptly.<span id="more-883"></span></p>

This can be caused by intake of specific food like some milk related products or caffeine products. Variation in the level of emotions and level of your physical activity can also cause migraine. One of the most underestimated causes of migraine is the change in the balance of hormones in our body.</p>
<p>The patient of migraine must always keep their prescribed medicines by their sides as who knows when it takes place. Have ample quantity of water and also make an effort to maintain a uniform sleeping habit. Relaxing yourself after an extremely stressful activity becomes more crucial if migraine has been posing serious health concerns for you.</p>
<p>Remedies of Migraine And Headaches:</p>
<li>Drink at least 5-10 glasses of water everyday.</li>
<li>Salads and fruits should be taken everyday, especially carrot.</li>
<li>Rinse your head with cold water everyday.</li>
<li>Almond oil should be put in nostrils every night before sleeping.</li>
<li>Do not overwork on computers. Give yourself a rest of at least 1-2 hours.</li>
<li>In case of   slight headaches just switch off computer and give your eyes some rest and don’t strain for some time.</li>
<li>A slight head massage will also provide you a slight relief.</li>
<li>Avoid straining  yourself, keep yourself clam and away from stress as much as  possible.</li>

I know I suffer from headaches.  I am always looking for ways to ease headaches without drugs.  Sometimes over-the-counter drugs don’t ease my headaches.  Home remedies ease my headaches better than drugs.  Here are the ways to ease headaches without drugs.</p>
<p>Stay hydrated<br />
You should drink plenty of cool, plain water.  Sometimes a headache can be caused by dehydration.  Drinking cool water will keep you hydrated and it will help you get your daily water intake.</p>
<p>Get enough sleep<br />
Headaches can be brought on because you didn’t get enough sleep.  If it’s possible, you should try to get seven or eight houses of sleep a night.</p>
<p>Avoid overusing pain medications<br />
You should avoid going over the recommended dosage<br />
of medication.  That can make your headache even worse than it was before.</p>
<p>Get something to eat<br />
You can ease your headache by eating something because it could be a hunger headache.  You could eat some fruit to help your blood sugar because your blood sugar could be up or down.</p>
<p>Take a nap<br />
Take a nap for a few minutes.  Taking a nap relaxes you and you may not notice your headache.  You can also try closing your eyes and not thinking about your problems in order to ease your headache.</p>
<p>Take a shower<br />
Taking a shower may relax you and ease the tension in your head.  You should try and take a warm shower because that may relax you.<span id="more-873"></span></p>
<p>Relax<br />
Try to take your mind off of stress by taking a walk.  You can squeeze in a mini workout<br />
while easing your headache.</p>
<p>Massage your temples, neck and behind your jaw<br />
Take a few minutes to gently massage your temples, your neck, behind your jaw or wherever you feel stiff.</p>
<p>Acupuncture</p>
<p>Pinch the meat between your thumb and forefinger.  This is a reflexology point that corresponds to your head so pinching this part of your hand should ease your headache.</p>
<p>Stretch your muscles</p>
<p>Lower your head gently to one side and gently stretch your neck muscles.  You may find some relief from your headache.</p>
<p>Walk away from your computer</p>
<p>Your headache could be triggered because of eyestrain.  If your head starts to hurt while you’re on your computer<br />
, you should get off of it for a while.  Staring at your computer screen for a long time can cause strain on your eyes, which can trigger a headache.  I need to do this one more because I’m always on my computer.</p>
<p>Use an ice pack</p>
<p>You could use an ice pack on your head to ease your headache.  If you don’t have an ice pack, you can fill a sandwich bag with ice and wrap it with a washcloth.  I must warn you that it gets really cold and if you’re using the sandwich bag, it leaks once the ice starts to melt.</p>
<p>Read labels on food</p>
<p>Your headaches could be caused by something you are eating.  There may be MSG in your food, which could be triggering headaches. If the food contains MSG, you should try to avoid it.</p>
<p>Rub vinegar on your head</p>
<p>I have tried this tip.  You put some apple cider vinegar on a cotton ball, tissue, or a paper towel and rub the vinegar on your head.  You should feel a tingle on your forehead.  It helped ease my headache when I tried it.</p>
<p>These are all the tips I have.  I hope these ways to ease headaches without drugs will help for all of you who suffer from headaches.</p>

<p>Migraine headaches are throbbing or pulsating headaches that are usually unilateral and are often associated with nausea; light and sound sensitivity; vomiting; sleep disruption and depression.</p>
<p>Migraines are caused by the dilation and constriction of blood vessels that release inflammatory substances that causes painful pulsations. A Migraine generally lasts from 4-6 hours, but like tension headaches, can last far longer. Frequency of migraines also varies tremendously.</p>
<p>The two most common types of migraines are migraines with aura and migraines without aura. Aura is a neurological phenomenon that is usually experienced 10-30 minutes before the headache.</p>
<p>The most common types of aura are usually described as bright shimmering lights around objects or at the edges of your vision. Other auras include zigzag lines, wavy images or hallucinations. In rare cases the aura can also be a temporary loss of vision.<span id="more-811"></span></p>
<p>Other less common types of migraines include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Basilar Artery Migraine</li>
<li> Carotidynia</li>
<li> Headache-free Migraine</li>
<li> Abdominal Migraine (Most common in small children)</li>
<li> Ocular Migraine</li>
<li> Status Migraines (Rare but very serious type that lasts more than 72 hours, and usually need hospitalization).</li>
</ul>
<p>Treatments of migraines also depend on the severity, frequency and type of migraine. Treatments are generally divided into two categories:</p>
<p><strong>Prophylactic treatment</strong> – Which aims to prevent or reduce the number of migraines<br />
<strong>Abortive treatment</strong> – Which aims to alleviate symptoms and reduce the duration of the migraine.</p>
<p>Other treatments of migraines which have proven successful include the non-pharmaceutical modalities mentioned in connection with tension headaches, these are: therapeutic ultrasound, massage and relaxation therapy.</p>
<p>If ever you experience what you believe to be a migraine, be sure to consult your physician, as certain neurological conditions and tumors have very similar symptoms.</p>
<p>Migraines and headaches can cause serious depression, chronic pain and a decrease in quality of life, however it need not to. Medicine has reached a stage where most of the symptoms (if not the cause), can be alleviated or cured.</p>
<p>If you suffer from any of the symptoms mentioned here it is advised that you consult your physician for the best course of treatment. In today’s stressful life we can’t afford to live in constant pain, luckily with pharmaceutical, therapeutic and if need be – surgical help, we don’t need to.</p>
